Functie

As a B2B Business Development Manager, you handle all inbound B2B leads and qualify outbound prospects that are not strategic or key accounts, engaging confidently with stakeholders up to C-level. You manage commercial contact by responding quickly to inquiries, understanding customer needs, qualifying leads using BANT, and deciding whether to develop the opportunity yourself or hand it over to the right Account Manager. Working closely with product experts, you take full responsibility for the sales funnel, develop non-strategic leads for more complex solutions, and close transactional deals across all customer groups.

You stay up to date with market and sector trends, using these insights to hold meaningful conversations with senior decision-makers and ensure strong product–market alignment. You coordinate quotations and contracts, operate within pricing guidelines, and follow internal procedures to ensure accurate financial follow-up. In addition, you maintain high-quality data by updating reporting tools, sharing relevant feedback with stakeholders, and using the sales performance dashboard to monitor and improve pipeline progress.

  • Proactive and commercially driven, with confidence in navigating complex B2B conversations.
  • Structured and analytical, able to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborator who builds trust-based relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented, adaptable, and capable of shifting seamlessly between transactional and consultative selling.
  • Displays a high level of ownership, professionalism, and strategic insight.

Required Knowledge & Functional Experience

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (written and verbal).
  • Proven commercial acumen and the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with senior decision-makers up to C-level.
  • Effective prioritisation and time-management abilities.
  • Experience working in a B2B environment.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Odoo.
