Our executive PhD program is a 4-year, research-based program for senior executives looking to apply relevant knowledge and research skills to contemporary business problems in their industry or workplace. The program is jointly organized with the University of Antwerp. It’s a premium executive development program designed to be academically rigorous and intellectually challenging.
All administrative and operational tasks to safeguard optimal learning journeys for our executive PhD candidates.
As an AMS Program Coordinator you organize all the administrative practicalities associated with the executive PhD program.
You will provide administrative support for our PhD candidates during their 4 year PhD learning journey. You are responsible for a smooth and professional learning experience for our senior executive candidates. You are able to communicate and engage with our highly educated and experienced PhD candidates.
As a true host, you are eager to help our candidates in every way. You are always looking for an appropriate, and as needed, customized solution. You are a real team player, flexible and open to support our candidates during their challenging and dynamic PhD journey.
You support a warm and personal learning experience for our candidates. From registration to participation, everything is planned and organized down to the last detail: you take the complete operational planning for your account, you support the application process, book classrooms and catering, set up the online learning platform, solicit program/lecturer evaluations, provide all necessary information to your team and other stakeholder.
You have total control over the administrative processes. You ensure that all information on the program is accessible to your team and the candidates. You work closely with the Academic Director and the Program Director to ensure a professional implementation of the curriculum. You safeguard and communicate assignment deadlines, you organize feedback moments for the candidates and you plan teaching sessions with the professors. In your role as Learning experience administrator you are the first point of contact on administrative issues for our candidates, our main partner the University of Antwerp and your colleagues.
You are also knowledgeable and very hands-on in working with Microsoft Office and in general an IT-savvy person.
You understand the structure and content of the program and can answer general questions from potential candidates and other stakeholders.
You assist the marketing and sales process in promoting the program on social media and during information sessions and events.
You provide correct and commercially substantiated information about our programs, either verbally or via e-mail.
- You hold a degree in higher education
- You have prior working experience, preferably in an international, client oriented environment
- As an organizational talent you do not lose sight of detail. You combine a “finish what you’ve started” attitude with diligent administration skills
- You are customer and team oriented
- You are a quick learner with a self-directed learning style
- You are self-aware and efficient, which drives you to examine and improve your own and the team’s administrative work processes
- You are continuously on the lookout for optimization of the entire service in our pursuit of "top learning experience"
- You like to structure administrative workflows
- You are a real team player inspired by the idea that you can achieve more together as a team than alone
- You embody a pro-active work ethic with a “can-do” attitude
- You are open and flexible and can adapt to a fast changing environment
- You have affinity academia and are open to learn more about the knowledge domains of AMS
- Work experience in other management/business schools/universities is a strong added value
- You are a (near) native speaker in English, knowledge of Dutch, French, or any other language
