Would you like to join our team? We are looking for a IT Application Support Officer.

Function

As an IT Application Support Officer at AMS, your responsibility will be to provide technical support to our staff and faculty within the school as well as to our external customers.

Together with your IT colleagues you:

• Implement functional changes in both existing and new applications;
• Improve existing IT processes;
• Follow- up on project development, for example of our Cloud solutions;
• Test and introduce changed applications within the organization;
• Are responsible for user management and support for the various applications;
• Create knowledge items and procedures and keep them up-to-date;
• Ensure resolution and follow-up by the IT team, of incidents and issue tickets in our Ticketing System (Topdesk).

Profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in IT or have equivalent knowledge through experience;
• You have excellent knowledge of ITIL processes;
• You are thorough in Excel, along with knowledge of databases via SQL and some knowledge of APIs (application programming interface);
• You know how to work with Teams / SharePoint / OneDrive;
• You have an affinity or interest in Digital Learning Platforms;
• You have broad (all-round) IT skills and you quickly learn new applications;
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, would be a plus;
• You are able to explain complex ideas to people with limited technical knowledge;
• You have a passion for customer experience;
• You are stress-resistant & flexible;
• You are the perfect combination of an analytical & solution / result oriented mind with an entrepreneurial, hands-on, persistent yet diplomatic spirit;
• You can work independently as well as in a small dynamic team;
• You communicate fluently in English and Dutch.
