Would you like to join our team? We are looking for a JUNIOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHER & PLANNER for the Acerta / AMS NeuroTrainingLab, led by Prof. dr. Steven Poelmans.


The Acerta / AMS NeuroTrainingLab is a development and research methodology for emotional and social intelligence, adaptability and leadership that uses competence measurements and biometric indicators.

As a Junior Scientific Researcher & Planner you will be responsible for the planning and organization of the research activities of the Acerta / AMS NeuroTrainingLab. You will be in charge of the internal and external communication with researchers and participants about the NeuroTrainingLab sessions which you will also be coordinating.

Your research activities will consist of developing and evaluating psychological tests and biometric wearables. In addition to collecting and analyzing data, you design and present user friendly reports of the data. Furthermore the work also includes editing of literature studies and research reports.


  • You are recently graduated with a master degree in (organizational / experimental) psychology, psychobiology, and/or neuropsychology;
  • You have applicable knowledge of quantitative (advanced statistics) and qualitative research methods;
  • You have experience working with SPSS, Excel and Powerpoint;
  • You are passionate about education, life-long learning and the development of individuals in organizations;
  • You have an organizational talent combined with a curious entrepreneurial spirit;
  • You display outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You have full proficiency in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
